Entwicklung einer Kurzversion der PSI-Process Scales
Die Forschung zu parasozialen Phänomenen floriert. Die PSI-Process Scales (Schramm & Hartmann, 2008) bieten ein umfassendes Instrument zur Bewertung parasozialer Prozesse und wurden schnell zu einem weit verbreiteten Messinstrument in diesem Bereich. Die umfangreiche Länge der Skala (112 Items) stellt jedoch eine Herausforderung für eine konsistente und vollständige Anwendung dar, was in der Regel zu Ad-hoc-Modifikationen führt. Tilo Hartmann, Philipp K. Masur und Holger Schramm präsentieren mit der Parasocial Processing Short Scale (PP-SS) eine kompakte Kurzversion der PSI-Process Scales. Die Kurzskala wurde systematisch aus der Langversion entwickelt und in zwei empirischen Studien validiert. Mit ihren 9 Items bietet sie ein prägnantes und leicht anwendbares Instrument zur Erfassung parasozialer Prozesse.
