Nina Döllinger successfully defended her PhD-Thesis

The Defense

Nina Doellinger completed her doctorate with distinction on December 4th! She gave an impressing talk about virtual embodiment, how it influences people's body awareness and how this can be used in VR therapy applications. The full title of the thesis is “Replacing The Body in Embodiment: The Relationship Between Avatars and Interoception in Virtual Reality".

We as a working group are very pleased with Nina's success and are glad that we can continue to work with her and benefit from her expertise.
