Dr. Daniel Possler
Profile:
Dr. Daniel Possler, born in 1989, studied media management (bachelor's and master's degree) at the Department of Journalism and Communication Research (IJK) at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media, Germany (HMTMH) from 2008 to 2014. He worked at the IJK as a research assistant from 2014 to 2022; with research visits at the Florida State University (Tallahassee, USA) in 2015 and 2017. He completed his doctorate at HMTMH at the end of 2020. His dissertation focussed on the elicitation and entertaining qualities of the emotion Awe in media reception. Since October 2022, Daniel Possler is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Media and Business Communication.
