The work of a media manager in the field of editing and production for TV entertainment

While studying media communications at the University of Würzburg, Jacqueline Sowa gained practical experience in the TV sector and completed a six-month internship in the “Reality” department at ProSiebenSat.1. After completing her bachelor's degree, she moved to Cologne to complete another internship at a TV production company, where she was hired as an editorial assistant. Since 2015, she has been working for ITV Studios Germany GmbH in various positions for a wide range of formats (including “4 Hochzeiten und eine Traumreise,” “Ich bin ein Star – holt mich hier raus!,” “Queer Eye Germany,” and “Das perfekte Dinner”). In her guest lecture, she will provide insights into various editorial positions at the TV production company, share behind-the-scenes impressions, discuss challenges, skills, and development opportunities, and share her personal experiences in this creative, fast-paced environment.
