Guest Lecture: Online Behavioural Research: Challenges and Successes - Jo Evershed

03.05.2021

Before COVID-19, online research was a choice, but recently it has become a necessity. Since taking the leap researchers are enjoying the benefits of the speed, scale, and reach of online research. In this lecture we aim to cover these benefits in more detail, along with some of the key challenges and successes associated with online behavioural research.

In this lecture we will discuss:

  • The benefits of online research
  • Maintaining data quality
  • Recruiting participants online
  • Choosing the right experimental software for your needs
  • Sharing your protocol and materials

There will also be an opportunity for a Q&A session at the end of the lecture, and discussion of the points covered. With the aim that you will be able to take your research online too.
