Who can apply?
You may apply for participation if all of the following conditions are met:
- You are interested in exploring novel interaction concepts around remote tourism
- You have sufficient English skills to follow and contribute to our course in English
- Your secondary education entitles you to study at a German University!
The course is most appropriate for, but not limited to, students of human-computer interaction (HCI), design, psychology, computer science or related fields (e.g., human factors, interaction design). If you are not sure whether you can participate, please contact us at email@example.com.
Since we are interested in intercultural perspectives and were able to raise funds, we can offer this summer course free of charge to international students.
Deadline for applications: March 24th, 2021; 11:00 pm (GMT+1)
Feedback on acceptance: March 28th, 2021
Enrolment at the University of Würzburg: until April 06th, 2021 (detailed information upon acceptance)
How to apply
To be considered for the summer course, fill-in the application form, provide a basic CV (example), and write a short motivation letter (max. half a page). Please submit all three documents (as .pdf) at firstname.lastname@example.org. Places in the course are limited and we consider applications on a first come, first served basis.
Please indicate in your motivation letter all time periods that are possible for you:
(1) 31.05. - 11.06.21
(2) 06.09. - 17.09.21
After Acceptance: Enrolment Process
On March 28th, 2021, we will get back to you with the outcome of your application. If your application is accepted, we will instruct you about the next steps via e-mail. Note that in order to participate in the summer course and to receive a certificate of study from the University of Würzburg, you will need to enroll as students.
So please be prepared to complete the enrolment application shortly after receiving an acceptance letter.
